Traditional Moroccan Dish

The traditional Moroccan Dish is the so called “Tajine”. You can eat Tajine in many different ways. It is a type of stew and gets prepared in a clay cooking pot where different types of meat and vegetables are slow cooked inside.
The traditional tajine pottery, which is often painted or glazed as you can see on the picture, consists of two parts: a round flat base unit and a large cone which cover the base during the cooking. The cover is designed like this because it should return all condensation to the bottom.
Tajines often combine lamb or chicken with some other seasoning ingredients like tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and potatoes.
We have tried many Tajine variants and I guarantee there is something for everyone.
